Was going to replace my wiper blades and little to my knowledge a Vette doesn't come all the way up like all other cars I've owned. So I broke my wiper arm spring clips. I think it's in orbit somewhere. Now I get to order new wiper arms and hopefully that fixes the hoping across the windshield. So until then I'll be applying lots of rainX to it. After that fiasco I wired up the previously installed 3 position toggle so my lights flip. Not sure what's going on there as I've bought the car a month ago. The headlights come on and off with the switch, but plugs were disconnected under hood. With toggle they flip both directions. I know the typical gears are shot so will be ordering gears soon too.
It's not just Corvette. Both my 3500 and 2500 still have the wipers that won't lock up for washing the car.
It might have something to do with GM attaching the wiper nozzle to the arm. Maybe there isn't enough slack in the flex line. Who knows.
I do like the sprayer being on the arm but don't like that you can lock the arm up.
Definitely was a surprise, I thought maybe it was just old and hadn't been moved in a while. Well I wrong sadly. Lesson learned yesterday. For what they are it was a pricey lesson too lol. Had other things in mind to fix first. So rain x is going to be used since it isn't driven much. I use it about 5 miles a day except weekends lol.
