Default 1996 temp question

I have a 1996 with 82k on it new radiator and water pump when driving seems to run on the digital gauge like 205 and has gone to 221. Anyone have any thoughts and also what are your lt1 engines running for temps

That's normal temp for your C4. The fan doesn't even come on until 227 unless you have the AC turned on (at which point both fans come on automatically).

If you look at the top of this section to the "stickies" you will see a great post about C4 operating temps. Also do not go by the analog gauge. Always go by the digital readout.

On my 96 I run 194 on the digital gauge running at 65 miles per hour in 60 or 95 degree outside temps. I will creep up to 210 in stop and go when it is warm out. Dan
