Saw this on Craigslist. Interesting. Also noticed the black C4 has side pipes.

The hardtop is the most valuable part on that entire thing.

The ZF is worth a few bucks too... then the rear gears depending on ratio...

I am not so sure if I would trust any mechanical parts off that car. Maybe as a rebuildable core, but not much else.

Much as I gate it, that bodykit is expensive to buy.

Wrong. It is a valuable insurance claim. Let's say I insure it and let's say it "fell off a cliff" or got stolen. Let's say I cash the check and sell it to some sleazy junkyard. They crush it for scrap iron, I get the check, everybody's happy.

OMG! That's hideous. I think the kindest thing you could do would be to sell the bits and burn that discusting body kit!

IIRC, years ago when Katrina hit and the gas prices skyrocketed, people were selling their paid for SUV for a smaller car in an attempt to avoid the sticker shock at the pump. That dropped SUV prices till many owners were "upside down" on their loans. There were quite a few cases of insurance claims which were suspicious and we can conclude even more that were successful.
I'm afraid that is all that car is worth if you want max dollar. A fraudulent insurance claim

It's in so bad shape that it would take more work than it would ever be worth to make it good again. The fugly part, well, maybe it will buff off.

The scrap yard would pull the motor and trans. Gotta be worth a grand or two.
Small block fuel injected 6 speed...young man's dream.

Seems like you could get some money for that hard top too.

Seeing how the conditions are, why? You see how the car is cared for, the hard top I'd probably worth a core at best.

You did notice the ad said parting. I'm fairly certain this is a Corvette salvage and parts dealer.

It's also sitting in a field of old scrap Vette parts.
