That would be quite a project!! The '84 ECM wouldn't like that at all! The MAP sensor would go crazy, too!
Have you already modified the intake manifold for better breathing, or installed a Renegade manifold? There are several things you can do to the '84 to wake it up, without going to that extreme!
If you think you can make it work, we would sure like to see the details!
I sure will post up the progress but i for a complete twin turbo set up with blow thru carb does anyone no wat i need to do as far as the throttle if i go carb its a tps now an will need to go cable ??

you can find a way to still use the existing stuff to run your computer and TC.
My car is set up the same. it is Carb but everything remains run by the computer except fuel. I can also just put in injectors and plug them in and go FI again. The TPS is run off the carb now instead of TB.
