Has anyone taken a C4 or C5 chassis and drivetrain and added an interior to make a modern day buggy with guts? Essentially, remove the body and add bumpers, lights, etc. If so, is it best to use a coupe with a targa top or a convertible? What is the difficulty level to remove all of the non-essential panels? Overall cost??
Been being stripped for years even before roadkill did it.
People adding interior as you say most likely not as it is not the point of why they dd strip it.
Depends what your purpose it.
Also my advice is plent of people have done this or even junk yards have stripped them for parts. Don't pay 2k for a car and then be stuck stripping it.
Pay less for it or pay 2k for a stripped one and save yourself the work.
There were some forsale not long ago posted here not finished or bored with it.
