Why would my console latch release work and my door hatch releases not?

Switches in doors could be corroded, dirty or disconnected.

Do you also have dome lamp/courtesy lamp issues? An A4 or a MT car?

When mine stopped working, replacing the courtesy light delay timer was the fix.

I'm sorry but this is my first experience with 'Vettes. (I have 40 years experience with any and all Corvairs)
What's an A4 or MT car?

A4 = auto trans

MT = manual trans. 4+3 is an early manual trans its a 4 speed with an overdrive.
6sp is a manual trans with 6 forward gears application is 1989 & later models.
