Are we allowed to give our e-mail address on the forum and continue discussion that way????

If you want to continue a conversation with a specific person just ask that they use the email link in your posts. They can "mouse over & click" your user ID to the left. The convenience of that is that unless you actually answer the email your email addy is thought to remain private.

If you "mouse over & click" another persons USER ID and if they've provided an email link use it!

Yes you could request emails and post your email addy

you have the option to send an email as stated above. You have a better option of using a local site mailbox which saves you a lot of trouble if you don't know who you are really emailing with.

These days personal info is best kept to yourself most times. Always was actually.

Use a PM till you are sure. IT gives you some level of protection like a glove to a hand. No glove, no love.

I'd use that unless you are sure. That or set up a gmail account for such things unless you want tons of nigerian princes or Publisher Clearinghouse calling you telling you that you may have won 1.5 million like I did this morning.
