Default Option codes

I am looking to purchase a 92 LT1.
How can I find out all the options on the car? The dealer does not have all information. Is there a Vin lookup that will tell me all the options on that car?

Your dealer is an idiot.

If you open the center console, there is a Dealer Service Sheet attached underneath at the back, that is not to be removed, that lists all the options, by code number, that came on the car.

I am the original owner of my '91 coupe and it has every available option with the automatic transmission. My list of codes is quite extensive.

Once you get the codes where can I find a list of options associated with the codes?

Look here for a list of RPO codes for the 1992 model year. Just match the codes on the decal to what is shown there.

Another thing you can do is to purchase copies of the window sticker and the build sheet from the National Corvette Museum. The window sticker will show all of the standard equipment and all options that were installed on the car when it was ordered. The cost of the options will be on that sheet too and the total price. It will also have the name of the dealership that received the car.

To do this, join the NCM first. Then you can order the two documents and get the NCM Member price. Membership in the NCM is also deductible as a charitable contribution on your taxes.

The Corvette Black Book lists the options by code number.
