What does it mean?
Looking at cam profiles, it would appear that I know nothing about cams
i think know the following
duration: Amount of time valves are open
lift: The amount the valves are lifted at at a certain degrees
overlap; . The amount of time both valves are open at the same time
LSA. Don’t know anything
I have read articles, but how each of the above effect an engine in terms of horsepower etc. , is not clear to me
i know you pick a cam based on what is your desire to use your engine, but there has to be other considerations I know this could be a long answer, so if you can direct me to another site, that would be great

This will get you started, but you might want to post over in C4 tech as well. Your heads, intake, exhaust, trans and rear all can affect cam selection. Post your specs and what you want out of the cam (power, driveability, low end torque, high end HP, etc.) and the guys who have BTDT will help you out.
