Procedure is outlined in the owners manual, and the jacking points or actually written right on the car, telling you where to jack.

Look at the bottom lip of the rocker panel and it says "Jack here" about a foot or so rearward of the front wheel well, and about 4 - 6 inches forward of the rear wheel well.

If you jack from the front one, it will lift the whole side of the car (both wheels). Then you can throw stands under front and rear, go around and jack the other side and stand it, the same way.

Should be able to have the car in 4 stands in about 5 minutes.

Another method is jacking by the entire side, many use it. Some say causes less stress on doors, hood, etc too. Works for me.

That is pretty much what I was saying;
"If you jack from the front one, it will lift the whole side of the car (both wheels)."

Oh, I skipped after you mentioned "marked jack point".

For jacking a side, using a point below the mirror makes for better balance (less stress).

Been doing that to my 84 since new. The car lives on jackstands and gets jacked once a week after returning from the races. As kael mentioned, jack the pinch weld under the mirror. The whole side of the car will go up evenly. Then place jackstands on the jacking points. Do the other side of the car. You'll have the car up and level in a couple of minutes.
