Paint job
Looking to have my 86 coupe repainted after the holidays. Looking for a reliable shop around Knoxville TN. Car will be a driver so I don't need a show car job just a good one. Only body damage appears to be some cracking and flaking on the left front corner above the turn signal fog light. Anybody have any suggestions?
or the paint/body section.

prepare for sticker shock. one shop said 6 grand and another said his paint jobs start at $4,500 and he didn't see it yet/. Used to live on the west side of K.town. Yes, I have a 86 coupe also.

Better off to find a car with good paint body and interior unless your ride has sentimental value, if it's got sentimental value then it will be worth every penny, probably plan on around 5-7 k for a good job that will last. If there's a dealer around your area that speacializes in old vettes that's who to find out from where to get the bodywork done. There's a shop near by me that always has about 1/2 a million dollars worth of vettes in it getting work. They help one of the largest vette dealers in Atlanta
