Default rear shade

Hi, On or 1988 c4 coupe, I am replacing the carpeting, How can you remove the privacy shade? Does one pin move enough to remove shade?
Thanks

I just replaced the carpet in my 84 and here is a post I used from a earlier thread:

"The rollup shade is held in place at the end(s) by a spring loaded plunger. If you carefully slide a small screwdriver, etc in between the track and the end cap on the shade and pull the shade forward it will pop out. I can't remember if both ends have a plunger but I released mine from the LH (passenger) side."

Once you do it it is much easier the next time you want to remove it. Good luck.

update on the shade, once we got all the trim off, carpet slid right out from under shade. Looks like there will be enough room to reinstall. So far so good, thanks for the help.

well tried to install carpet without removing shade, was not easy, so did remove shade, yes both sides are spring loaded, came out with little trouble once you can figure out where to put screwdriver. Thanks again for the help
