targa top
we have a targa top on our 88 coupe. The top itself is in good shape, but the finish is checked, like the sealer or clear is worn. Question is has anyone ever refinished the top? Can it be sanded and re-cleared? asking before I buy a new one. Thanks

Yes. It can be sanded then polished to refinish it. Some reclear it and some leave it after polishing.
There have been a number of threads both in the C4 and C5 sections (and probably others too) that show how they did it and it looks like they had good results.
