So I had one broken fusible link. I traced it out to be my fans. Well fixed it and for some reason my fuel pump quit working. Here's the fun that some may or may not know.........the two fusible links under the black "20" capsule are soldered together. I finally worked it out this morning as I just repaired the one last night. All without fsm lol. It took jumping the a/b terminals to find out this after tearing down fuel pump, checking relay's, and fuse's. So it should be running tonight when I get back home and reinstall the horrible fuel pump assembly (it's bad) have to purchase a new one but the job isn't a major task. Now I know why my sending unit doesn't register.......it isn't there anymore 😂😂😂😂

This was the black capsule location. My heat shrink shrunk due to not having much working room. So I will be rubber taping this.

Just a little rust Amazing the fuel pump sock is not covered in rust also.

The previous owner changed the pump and sock and cleaned out the tank. The sock is still pretty dirty for the short time it was in.

No kidding! I've looked in the tank of mine but not had this part out. I sure didn't see anything that even looked close to this bad or condition.
