89 vette instrument panel fault
Hi i have a fault in the digital instrument panel the 2 indicater lights come on and the high beam indicater light comes on and the dash go to about half brightness could someone please help cheers john c

That problem is fairly common and is likely a bad ground at either the panel board plug on the instrument panel or at the ground point located in the driver's footwell/behind left hand side kick panel. If it is not one of those faults then it is time to start looking for cold solder joints on the circuit boards or a fried connection on the boards from the heat of the instrument lamps. You may find the printed circuit has a gap from the heat.
