Default LT1 wire loom options

I replaced the manifolds in my car with the Pace Setter shorty headers this past weekend. Oh what a joy that was. The drivers side wires worked out alright, not that you can really see them anyway. But the passengers side is a mess no matter what I do. It's functional just sloppy. Are there any aftermarket looms that work with our cars?

I found this picture which I believe is an LT1 Camaro. Happens to be same headers/plug wires I'm using. The looms bolt to the valve covers, which I don't think I can do with stock valve covers on the Corvette.

Hi Haxxx,
I'm in a similar situation. I have Pace Setter shorty headers on my 95. Engine is currently out and I'm getting ready to install my reworked Optispark and new plug wires. If I figure anything out, I'll post here. Otherwise, I'll be watching this thread for any good ideas.

Regards, John

Default Thermo socks

I have a 95 also with ceramic long tube headers , they get very very hot , I always include a fire proof thermo sock on each plug wire also known as sleeves . This will save you from burning up ignition wires . After you route your wire looms ( I’m using fixed stainless framed looms ) as long as you keep them away from the Headers you will be fine . One touch and that wire is literally toast . The thermo sleeves come in different colors and you can find them at jegs , summit or Amazon .actually at most auto parts stores if they have them in stock . My last set I bought on Amazon because it was easy and fast . Check them out gentleman . IMHO must haves with headers
GOD bless ,
Robert

what i did was to run the wires from the opti spark along the block and the front 2 cylinders on each side came up thru the motor mounts. the rear wires i continued along the block, secured them with a clamp bolted into a threaded hole on the block and up to the plugs. i also used a set of camaro z28 wires as all 8 wires have a 90* boot.
