Re: C5 Wheels on C4 (reddracer)
you will need the 1" adapters (spacers), but they fit and look better on a c4 than on the c5

Re: C5 Wheels on C4 (HOWSER)
aren't they more narrow, though, and therefor provide less traction? and therefor make you slower?

You can retain 275's on the front even though 2000's+ went with 255's
rears remain 275's but they are 18"
No change in traction, 255's on the front are supposed to react less to ruts in the road

I LOVE those wheels. I've been thinking about looking into the cost to powder coat my ZR-1 styles white to go on my admiral blue car, but now I may need to look into some newer wheels!
Those are too

Re: C5 Wheels on C4 (MinnesotaWhite)
11 inchers... LOL  anyhow. My wheels have been machined inside the spokes on the outer edge. u know the 90 degree andle on the lip of the y2k wheel? it was machined off which makes the spokes1/2 inch longer as well. It also gives a fat white band when spinning... like the porsche turbo. I then painted them quadruple white, inside and out. i used chrome y2k centercaps cuz theyre flat , that way i dont have a c5 emblem on my car. I love the look, but i wouldnt do it again. 5 months in the garage over the winter with a dremel, a bunch of bit #112s and a grocery bag over every part of my body to keep the aluminum bits outta my clothes...... no thanks, never again. But hey, I got 1 of a kind wheels :yesnod: :D :yesnod:
Tires are bridgestone so2 pole position 273/35/18. I use DRM 5/8" wheel spacers on ALL wheels with the zinc coated DRM 1/2" longer wheel studs. Only thing left is considering widening the rear wheel to 10.5 inch. :)
