A good brand of green ethylene glycol coolant mixed in a 50-50 ratio with distilled water. It would be a good idea to do a complete flush of the system to remove any sludge or contaminants. You should remove the knock sensor that is on the passenger side of the block just in front of the starter. This insures that all of the coolant in the block can drain out but you may have to unclog the opening.
It would be a good idea to replace the radiator hoses and make sure there is no dirt and debris that would clog up air flow thru the A/C condensor and radiator. Can't hurt to get a new pressure cap (15-16psi) too. Remove the overflow bottle and clean it up. Refill to the COLD mark with coolant.
