How do I attach photos to thread

I am kind of new at this. I don't know how to attach photo to PM?? Is that not allowed? Thanks

look at the paper clip when replying to a message or starting a thread,click on it and browse for a pic upload and see if its there by clicking the preview post on the bottom Good luck

You mention PM - do you want to do one to a PM or 'to thread' like you mentioned in TITLE? If the snapshot is on an image server I believe you can attach it to a PM but not a snapshot from your computer.

To a 'thread' you can do it from either a snapshot on your computer or on an image server or elsewhere.

I know how to attach photo when posting a thread by clicking on the paper clip. But I don't see the paper clip when I try to PM someone and attach a photo?? I must be missing something?? Thanks for the info

You can insert the photo into the message itself just like you do in a thread by clicking on the yellow box that looks like it has mountains in it.

you can click the GO ADVANCED button at the bottom of the message window to more clearly see all your options

True, but in a PM (private message), that option will only allow you to post photos that are "hosted" on a web service somewhere.

As WVZR-1 mentiones, there is no option to attach a photo from your computer directly into a PM.
That only works for normal threads.
