LED Lights
My 95 has LED tail lights/brake lights.
They are so bright they are almost blinding.
So bright at night you can't read the license plate.
I'm wondering if they are legal.
Has anyone had issues, legal or otherwise with LED tail lights/brake lights?

go to your local police station or car inspection place and ask them

Nope. Never heard of led taillights causing an issue. The factory LED taillights on some new cars will scorch your retinas off, I doubt your car will cause any concerm.

Yup. I also doubt the LED tail lights on your 95 are a problem.

Sometimes it’s beter to ask for forgiveness then permission. Or ignorance is bliss.

US DOT requirements for lighting specify minimum visibility from a predetermined distance.
I don't think there are any maximum specs as long as they don't truly blind 'oncoming' traffic.
I've never seen a spec for too much light to the rear, only specs for the 'wrong' colors.

I’d ask an inspection mechanic over PD. No use opening that can of worms.!
