To get to the motor requires removal of the glove box and the dash pad. The dash pad removal starts at the shift **** and works it's way up thought most of the dash. Lots of steps. I have them in a document at home.
On a 92 the motor is on top of the heater core housing. later years (94 on IIRC) it was moved to the bottom making it much easier to change.
But before you go too far, what is the actual problem you are chasing?
Have you run the diagnostics through the HVAC control. There is a test to determine the command vs actual door position.
There is also a possibility that something is blocking the door. Was the car stored for a while? You can access the door by removing the evaporator housing in the engine bay without disconnecting the AC system.
