Again....group think..because you almost NEVER see it means what? The entire world would be boring as hell if nobody ever stepped outside the box and tried something new and innovative.
It means less
The look of my C4 doesn't need fixing.
If I wanted a quick car with a hideous wing, I'd have bought a WRX STi.

So after being questioned here about our dislike of adding these aftermarket wings , we're going to be taking a vote at the next monthly meeting to open more "Anti-Wing" membership chapters. Anyone else in? I can't help it guys. This picture is hysterical! Just havin some fun.

Reason: typo
IIRC, there is a lot of talk about how real HD riders don't wear helmets. Kevlar vests or leather vests don't help the head.
I've been riding since 1970...have yet to have anybody define what a "real HD rider" is. BTW, the comment wasn't about protecting the head, that hadn't been brought up. Helmets protect the head.

Don't know what to tell you. A while back, on visiting a couple of chapters, it was pretty much vest and jeans. Been advised more than once that I "don't need that much gear", "only metric bikers.....", etc. Sorry, if it is my skin at risk, I'm wearing my boots, gloves, pants with pads, jacket with pads and kidney belt and a full face helmet. I have more money than skin to spare. Sure, it's roasting hot in stop and go traffic but it gets much hotter when my skin meets the pavement and I'm sensitive to pain and allergic to most opiates.
I was mentioning the PRINCIPLE about protecting my entire body and not just the torso and legs with kevlar or leather regardless of what the culture is. IIRC I was referred to as the "Unfortunate Metric Biker on a HD".
im soon to be getting a rear spoiler installed on my 87,but I really can't decide which I like best...opinions and thoughts are welcomed
I like this one it's sleek not to big and not tacky,it's the same kind that's on the red vet pictures...$246 Greenwood style so it's going to be a bit more The cheapest $122 I think this one would be my second choice To me this one sits way to low for me This one is just ok,higher than the low one...lower than the high one
I would save my money for things that are going to break on that 31 year old car......wings don't help them run better.......You will learn as you obtain life experiences with age.....
Just like blacking out the tailights and fog lights......there is money spent on better things when maintenance is the priority on these cars......

Good for YOU. It is not unusual to find many in the opposite situation. Especially in the C4 forum. Offering money saving suggestions is kind of the point here.
If you were looking for more ways to spend money, that's another forum.

I'm good at spending OPM. Other People's Money. If money is no object to a person, I'd be up for adoption to that person.

You've met some of the resident "I know whats better for your car than you do" ******** that are part of this place. Not really sure WTF they grew up missing in life, but I seriously think it was attention and that nobody paid any to them, enter the internet the self anointed superior intellectual...or the politically correct corvette "owner" (not sure they even own vettes).
Blaze a new trail with YOUR car. Wings have made one hell of a lot of other brands look good, and there is no reason they can't enhance a vette...unless you take the blue pill.

The right spoiler can make an ordinary sedan look like a performance car, and make a performance car look like it’s fresh off the race track. more details on - https://www.carid.com/spoilers.html
, it's about image, aka Fake it since you can't make it.
You mean the Red pill, don't you?
After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill—the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill—you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember: all I'm offering is the truth
. In the movie, the red pill wakes you up and the blue pill keeps you dreaming.
