I had a Prowler messing with me last night from light to light, but I wouldn't play because my vette was just sitting for 4 plus hours and wasn't even close to operating temp yet, not to mention the traffic. So, just wondering what the outcome would have been?? Anyone raced one before? Not many of these around here at all, so I don't know what they are capable of doing.
They're slow. Another Dodge, "I wish we made a real car" concept. Of course, the reason they can't make a fast car is because they can't make decent brakes! Who wants the liability of sending a high HP car out the door with Dodge brakes on it?
I have smoked one in my Grand Prix GTP. The vette would kill it. It had a very similar engine in my Stealth and it stunk. Not to mention the fact that the brakes were down right criminal.
NEVER buy another Dodge. There is a reason why they have come up with these lame-butt gimicky cars since the 60's.....
The Prowlers look okay, but they're slow. Then again, who's to say that the prowler was stock? For all we know there was a 400 RWHP engine lurking underneath the hood. If it was stock, easy win for sure. :yesnod:
But they are so very C-O-O-L....Best of all out there...if only I could aford one....why would you race such a classic...this is the last year for them.....they do not have a Hi Perf. engine....of course no contest with our vette's.
Just my meager thoughts....
