Nothing seems to be working on my 1987 C-4 auto climate controls. All of the little lights work, but nothing changes when I push any of the buttons.
The heater fan blows on high, even when I hit the "off" button.
The radio and speakers were stolen out of the car, and I'm wondering if they messed something else up? There are a bunch of wires hanging under the dash.
If they cut the wiring to the radio to remove it possibly they cut something also that went to the C68 (Automatic HVAC) control. Your might try tracing the wiring as much as possible coming out the back of the C68 to see if something is cut.

Thank you. I'll pull it out and see what is happening. Appreciate the help!
I have an issue somewhat similar to yours in my 86. The unit goes completely dead randomly and does not allow you to see the changes in temperature or fan speed but the unit does still work....most of the time. I'm thinking that the solder joints on the board are failing or becoming cold solder joints. If you don't find anything with the wiring, you may want to pull the hvac unit out and pull it apart and check the solder joints.
