Default Throttle body repair shop

Looking for shop that will replace butterfly shaft on my 1989 throttle body. Don’t want to buy kit and do it myself

I had Accel and https://www.summitracing.com/parts/h...make/chevrolet. I don't think they make ACCEL anymore but I recently got the Holley and it does fit my 91 Speed Density hose.

there is a company selling through Amazon called Throttle Body Shop. Not sure how to contact them directly though. I don't think Amazon will tell you. I bought a rebuilt unit from them that works good. I was having similar problems as you.

I wish, for your sake they did. Unfortunately, too many people bought into "Bigger is Better" and they all want the 1000 cfm TB, 58mm maybe? I had someone put that on a stock C4 (L98, IIRC). Felt much better and faster. Too bad the track consistently showed it was a hair slower.

Has anyone used the over haul service from rock auto. For 100.00 they say among other things they replace shaft bushings

RockAuto lists a rebuild service for $125 under the "Throttle Body" section for 1989 Corvette.
