Removing Hush Panel 1985
I'm trying to remove panel to get to NSS. I'm finding 3 screws along driver side, 1 on each side of steering column, and 1 deeply recessed on each side of column. Does that sound right to those who may remember?

33yr owner of an 85 and I have no clue what an NSS is. You can't spell that out?

When you do get that panel off, the switch is WAY up in there on the left hand side. Barely can be seen and almost impossible to remove unless you remove half the front end! The plug is really easy to get at though. Unplug it and jump the plug to eliminate the use of that switch. Just one wire to jump. It would also be incredibly hard to reinstall a new switch in that same space. Elimination of it is what most of us do.
