Default opti drive gear seal ?????????????

What is with the seals in the timing cover on this 94 coupe. Recently did a lot of work on my 94 which included all new seals in the timing cover. Put the car all back together and within days began to see a leak, puddle of oil about 6 inches in diameter on a daily basis. Tore the car back apart this week and there was oil on everything on the front of the motor. Installed a remanufactured distributor and vented and sealed it myself, however I had to use the old drive gear from the old distributor, cleaned it very well. From what I can tell this is the seal that is leaking. Called dealer this morning and the shop supervisor said if not installed with a special tool which is not sold to the general public then it is almost guaranteed to leak. Of course you can not just purchase the drive gear by itself either so I have to use the old one. Has anyone replaced one of these and had success or know where to get this tool without having a friend at the dealer to get it for you ???? Also anyone know where to get another distributor drive gear since mine does have a very slight groove worn in it ???? Please help I'm beginning to wear thin with this whole ordeal. Thanks for all advice and comments in advance. So far I have had great luck with the knowledge from forum members and will surely trust them in the future. Thanks again. :chevy :seeya
