I never understood the turning Corvettes into station wagons thing.

Take a $2,000 corvette and throw a truck cap on it?

I guess it is smarter than paying for the real kit years ago or the new ones that are ridiculously overpriced.

I get what he is doing. I think the cap is a nice match actually.

It is a "hot rod" the person does not care it is a "corvette" and I think it is better than the "corvette" parts pitcher's offering.

It might be worth doing if the hitch is a Class III or better...

A sort of roll bar setup. Probably there for safety on track day.

An abomination compared to the nicely done ones posted above. Can't say I'm on board with it but I appreciate the guy's effort.

The professionally done ones are cool. The pic I posted is what you would see at a WalMart. We have a car that shows up in our local one that has bumpers made from birch tree logs,

[/QUOTE]

This was Corvette's one year only "P.O.S." edition. How can anyone think this was nicely done or appreciate the workmanship? What workmanship? It's an abortion.

This one has certainly gotten a lot of attention. Plenty of threads on at least 3 of our forums. Being popular in this case isn't a testament to being great.
