Adding mp3 player

I find my 95 cassette and tape player not working, so I purchased an in-line MP3 player that connects through the antenna and is recieved on a fm station. I have delco Bose system and see warning in manual about adding players to system. Any advice as I have heard it will burn out Bose amplifiers?

i bought a factory refurb Delco with a cd player and aux port it fit my 84 corvette but tight fit search for it on ebay Delco refurb radios
