I know headers have been covered to death. Obx, hooker, AR, Melrose, etc so I won't get into that aspect. I did a quick search and didn't find much on these guys but I was on eBay and saw c4 headers made by a company called Phab for around 400$. (Link below) I was just curious if they're even worth looking into or not bothering. I'm slowly pricing things out to get the car where I want it so I figured if I could save a little why not.
I've had no experience with that particular brand, but after recently replacing my stock units with a set of Doug's shorties in my 95 coupe I learned one great lesson. The brand you buy will be the one biggest determining factors in your installation experience. It seems that almost every set of headers will need some finessing to install, and being able to pickup a phone and call the manufacturer and actually have them answer and be eager to assist was great. Also, finding a member on the forum that has installed the EXACT same brand and model was truly invaluable.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't take a chance, but in my case I did not have much experience in this process and my choice was the right one.
Good things aren't cheap because they can't and don't have to be and cheap things aren't good because they can't be. For the most part, if it is cheap, it lacks something. I have had cheap headers that were a royal PITA to install and hard to change plugs. If it isn't ceramic coated, it might rust faster.
Ask yourself this. If you are worth $10 an hour, why would you settle for $8 unless you have issues that make you not worth $10? Say a drug problem, fired from last 3 jobs, etc, etc.
Looking at the welds and joints, the welds (imo) are not pretty - which makes one wonder about the quality over all?
Obviously, whomever looks like they're buying header pipe sections and sticking them together; not seamless, IOW. And, in my own past experience, one has to be a good welder to pull that type of fabrication off, or the first time you hit a speed bump (or whatever) you might have leaks!
That said, if in fact they are stainless, they have that much in their favor. And, the price is right - considering too the FREE SHIPPING. So, for that $$, maybe you can take a chance and get back to us. After all, benefit of the doubt, you my have found a good supplier after all!

I hear you. I know how it is, just figured it was worth asking. I can deal with a little work but crap is sometimes crap. I've lucked about a lot but I've been burned enough to no go straight in.
We use generic motors for our pumps because they outlast the OEM replacements. (Which happen to be the generic ones spraypainted a different color. If they sit in the sun for a year the base black is all that's left and the gold is gone.) The generic also costs less and has design revisions that the OEM pumps still don't have... like a turn dial voltage selector vs having to install a jumper wire. It is literally the only generic part we sell, because the real parts are better the rest of the time... as in they actually manufacture them instead of calling it out.
However 99% of the time paying up for the OEM stuff is better. Especially the o-rings. The cheap ones just swell up on us. Customers go to non authorized dealers and get the cheaper one and pay for two in the time one lasts. Save 10$ now but have to buy it again next year.

Good Luck!
I think that I am going with the Melrose system. I've heard they fit wonderfully. I'm willing to fight a little but add in an entire unknown and you're screwed especially if you can't get help.

Eh, you're seeing what I was. I was thinking okay stainless header. For the most part I want to pay once and it be right.
