Courtesy light timer
I have an issue with my courtesy light timer, the original crapped out so I replaced the circuit board and the drivers side works perfectly but the passengers side craps out after 30 seconds, when I unplug the circuit board and plug it back in the same thing happens, it works for 30 seconds and craps out, but the drivers side always works perfectly, any suggestions or has this happened to Anyone? It’s on my 1987 convertible

The lights go out and the hatch release on the door stops working, neither one will work again unless I unplug and then replug the modular in again, only on the right door, the drivers door works perfectly all the time

Try turning on your interior lights via the headlight switch, I think that part you'll find is a non-problem.
