cluster screen and backlight issues
Dear all, I'm Nadal from Mallorca Spain, I have a 1990 coupe bought recently in very good shape, running but with some problems like the cluster LCD, cluster backlight, radio and a.c. console backlight not working. I have sent the cluster to "module mechanics" in FL to repair but when received back repaired still don't work. After speak with the people of module mechanics they said to me that the problem should be the BCM. because they checked after repair, but not checked before repair.
I know the last problem had this car with the previous owner years ago was with the alternator, that finish near to destroyed and don't know if had an overcurrent. Since this the car doesn´t start because the anittheft system, but this was fixed with a bridge in the ECU, today the car is running perfect, the gauges also work fine, but no LCD, no backlights, no buzzer.
May you give me the way to fix it? do you think is the BCM bad? Since don't have LCD, I can't look any fail code.
