guys and girls i need your help. my name is james lewis and i own a 1990 zr1. to make my story short i put the car in the shop and the shop was reposessed and the guy tried to keep everything not attached to the car which included a set of watson headers that cannot be replaced. the court had ordered him to return them but he will not. if you guys and girls will call this guy and bug him to death he may get tired of the calls and give them up . if you could buy these still i would just rebuy them. call john jacobs at 1-970-418-8047 or cecil jacobs at 1-970-494-4449
Well I hate to rain on your parade but with only 1 post to your name I doubt you will get any help from here. How do we know you are not just a troll here? Does anyone here know you personally?
If there is a "court order", this is a piece o' cake. :yesnod: The local police or Sheriff will go there with you and enforce an order of the court. You may have to show proof of ownership though.
For now, calling this guy and harassing him, might be a violation of both state and federal law to those involved and may implicate you as an accomplice. Ya don't want that :nono:
It's not that folks here are not willing to help. Just the opposite is true. I've seen this group chime in and darned near go to battle for a member that's been wronged. But we've got to be careful. As Cowboy said, you're new here so again, it has to be approached with caution.
Try going to the local police or sheriff or back to the court to have the order enforced. Should seriously be a "walk in the park."
Best of luck and keep us updated. I did write the guys name and number down so, somwhere later down the road, if it becomes a necessity...maybe... :boxing .
