I recently purchased a 1996 Vette, LT1 auto. I need a console latch striker plate, and ordered one from Keen parts. James from Keen called, said the one I ordered was for 84 to 89, they don't show one for the 96. I don't have the old one, it was missing when I got the car. Corvette mods show one for 1984 to 1996, but I would rather order from Keen. Anyone know if there are any differences? I appreciate any help on this, I don't know anyone with a C4 to look at.

That would be great, it is confusing that one company shows 1984 to 1996, another shows 1984 to 1989.

Wouldn't be the first time. Most are resellers so whatever the part vendor tells them is what they use in the parts description (been there - done that). Sometimes though they aren't even the same parts, so be careful and check their return policy.
