Will a bad oil pressure sensor cause an engine to die like turning the ignition off, or not start? It usually happens after it gets to temp then try to restart, almost like heat soaked component And/or what overheated components cause this? Working on multiple problems and trying to eliminate items.
No it will not.
As far as naming parts that could do what you are describing, that's a pretty long list. Just get the car into the failed state and start with some simple tests. Fuel pressure, and spark. You are missing one or both.

Intermittent injector pulse has been what Ive had, so far. It kinda acts like the ICM, so I replaced with a new GM unit. The opti is fairly new, Ive had it replaced a few times and just doesn't act like the it has before it went out. At one time I lost power to the to the fuel pump but I think it was shut down from something else. Newly rebuilt ECM but something with isnt quite right, after the rebuild the fan doesnt come on when I turn the AC on so I will sending that back in. It still turns on at 228 degrees and couldnt communicate with a cable and tunerpro. I thought the ECM was the problem because of that.

If you know for certain the ecm is screwed up then fix that first. I still vote you get the car into the failed state and test for spark, fuel pressure and injector pulse while its in the failed state. You need to do that or your chances of getting this fixed are going to be pretty low.
