No, this would require a timing cover change. (Well it can if you change the timing cover, as well as the camshaft too, I think.) Also, the 92-94 optis are spline drive, where as the the 95-96 optis are pin drive. There are vented optis made for spline drive applications.

I lucked out with my 94 in that the previous owner had to replace the motor, and happened to get one out of a 96 so it has the updated Opti and related components.
