So, Ive been thinking about something to do to my car to make it just not another c4.. came across this decal.. this guy in my opinion designed something very nice and tasteful for the c4.. the only thing stopping me is I wish he had a clear matt or clear flat version.. Im aqua metallic so that leaves me with white and black and both would be too bold I think.. "too much".. BUT, I could buy the sticker and then pay someone to spray the design on.. in fact in this photo black on a red c4 its too much.. it should be a gray or like I said, a clear matt. Just subtle.. not screaming out look at me look at me!
Im curious what other c4 owners think.. sometimes my decisions dont end up being what I hoped for when I choose something visually on the interwebs..

Looks like someone got their jacket caught in the door and it shredded in the wind. More color options are probably the key. I wish mine had that badge over the front fender vent though.

Are you only interested in hearing what just the C4 owners who feel it's "cool" think, and are looking for more support, or are you open to the guys who think it's not cool? As for me, add "1" to the "uncool" tally.

However, the american flag IS a decoration.. Id pay to hear you tell that to a member of the hells angels. Or, perhaps the president and vice president of the US? Perhaps you'd rip it off their lapels while stating "The American flag is not a decoration.". Where did you get that from, pull it out of your backside just to try and insult my interest in feedback? Nothing like piling on just for the sake of piling on.
My home is proudly decorated with a US flag and will always be... come try and take it down.
That all being said, I may go with this design.. it would be sprayed on in flat clear. I like it and I think it works with the lines of the c4. Negative comments under consideration and I thank for the ones that had actually had some helpful comments.

You really need to chill out. If you consider flying a flag from a proper flagstaff a decoration,Decaling a car is, you don't understand what "decoration" means. A lapel pin worn as a sign of respect is not a decoration. I have had no problem confronting politicians who wear one but clearly act against the principals for which it stands. A flag worn properly on a military uniform to identify forces is not a decoration.
BTW, one of the principals the flag represents is my right to have and voice my opinion whether you like it or not.

Yes you are correct, you can respond all you like. However, a pin worn on a lapel or a flag adorning a home is indeed a decoration. I think decorating a car with a US flag is about as respectful as it gets since its a personal item that most people in the US are very attached to.

Yeah that is my thought.. the last thing I want to do is try to turn it into something it is not.. this is the mistake many make when they try and "make it their own"... You have to go with its root..
The car is clearly a strong example of made in USA.
It is considered 'fast'. The flag design clearly represents a flag that is being blown hard.
and of course its directional.. the car is moving in the direction the flag is being flown..
And they key is, as you point out, I think ANYTHING done on the c4 needs to be very subtle to not mess with the original design.
