85 corvette Erratic cluster

The cluster in my 85 corvette started flashing random numbers and lines erratically. Checked all my fuses and pulled the cluster out tried wiggling wires/plugs- nothing. Any suggestions??

The most common issues are the board interconnecting pins with display flashing and going dark, however your symptoms sound like the
connecting pieces that go from the printed circuit board to the display panel.
They have to be aligned correctly and pressed together correctly or the display can go crazy.

Visit www.batee.com for information repair kits or have the dash repaired.
