Default Concealed Headlights

Is there a way to get the concealed headlights on my 91 to open and close smoothly? Mine seem to want to hang up and jerk back and forth as they are opening or closing.

More than likely you have worn bearings and/or gears inside the motors.

Usually means the 3 pivots are worn out. Check under the headlight motor under the hood to see if you have any white fine dust accumulated there.. if you do then that's your problem. $10 on eBay for a new set (both sides)
