I have a 96 C4 with left front fender decal. Over time it has become damaged and I ordered new ones. So how do I get the old one off? Hairdryer?
The replacement sebring stripes come from Zoom.Graphics. I wasn't very impressed with their directions. Anyone bought and put them on?
Thanks, guys.
My 96 is still going strong. I buy 15,000 mile motor and filters but am changing it now at 11,000 miles. It didn't burn a drop. Still over full. I thought that impressive, Car has 75,000 miles on it.
I'm a fan of 3M Adhesive Remover for anyting - badges, decals, etc - that need to be removed, along with a little heat from a hair dryer or head gun (on LO and from a safe distance). Also, I've found those soft flexible plastic applicators used for spreading fiberglass resins, etc work good as a "scraper" to wheedle underneath the heated and treated decals - the applicator used like a putty knife. (For emblems I use fishing line stretched between my thumbs to saw underneath the heated/treated emblem.)
