92-plug & wire change !!!

Default 92-plug & wire change !!!

My first vette 1992,
and I said what the hell ill change the pugs and wires ...6hrs later I needed BEER and lots of it.
can they make it any harder.my back and neck hurt for 2 days after this!
but I got it...6hrs later!
then few days later I pulled the battery to work on the ground cable.
I said to my self wtf so I ran a 6g cable from the front were the 2 black wires were and from there to the alternater bracket.
need to change the wire to black next week,red is all I had. and see if I can run more grounds on passenger side.

OUCH- man I'm about to order cap,rotor,& wires for my 84, hoping with old style dist mines not bad.

I could never do plugs and wires in my 96 in 6 hours. I think you did great! Dan

Your good on 84 wont take you long at all !

Ya look's pretty plain to do, gonna pick stuff up in morning and get it done, hey on a 84 do you have to touch dist for timming or not?? still waiting for repair manual to show up, Thanks

If its running good after tune up don't touch nothing.
But it wont hurt to check it.
Just to see if its at factory specs?
You never know what the last peps did to it.

SkinnyT, Thanks again, I'm headed to garage to do the replacing, pulled 1 plug from each side yesterday just to see gap and color--other than being (Autolight) I believe in Delco in GM, but they were gapped correct and a Great light tan color, just want to start out with knowing all maint and dumb stuff is good from start, but seems just a little rough at Idle and takes a couple extra turns of starter to fire up, your right thos I'll swap everything then see how it starts and if its smoother @ Idle, Thanks Man & have a good day

I don't understand why it takes so long for you guys to change the wires on an LT1 😁
