Default suspension

Is a person able to tell if the my 1989 Vette has the electronic suspension from the Vin # 1G1YY318XK5104205. I'm trying to make sure I'm getting the right shocks.

There would be a **** for shocks on console. If open hood electronic actuators mount on top of shock where top bushing is.

Take a look on the inside of your console lid for the the RPO code sticker. You will get the exact code for your suspension which will allow you to get the correct shocks.

Lots of great information on the sticker.

Electric shocks would be FX3 on label. Service Parts IDentification or SPID label is like a mini build sheet. You do want to be sure vin on label matches vin on dash and drivers door. If it doesn't match it's not for your car. If it matches door and not dash; you may have something funny with the title.
