Good morning. My 93 Vet is experiencing an overheating issue which I'd appreciate some input/guidance on.
Steam is coming from the recovery/overflow take and excessive coolant is coming from the cap. There are no leaks in the system as the coolant is contained in that area when looking at the engine compartment. Could this be a pressure issue? Air in the system? Looking for guidance and suggestions on what to do to fix this issue.

Thanks.
You need to get that radiator out for good cleaning . The fins get clogged up over so may years. A new thermostat for sure too.
If I'm going through the trouble of pulling the radiator out, would a new Dewill Aluminum Direct Fit replacement be worth it instead of keeping the old one?
Condenser and radiator should be checked for restriction. Are cooling fans coming on? What does digital temp display reading? Any previous repairs? Radiator change is if you want to spend the money, depending on condition of radiator. If the tank ribs are cracked, there obvious damage, or crud in it. Replacement would be worthwhile. You don't want to overlook condenser since it mounts in front of radiator.

some would swear by it, but I wouldn't. As long as your radiator is clean, it will cool as intended
Mine was doing the same thing and it was the radiator cap! Try getting a new "correct" OEM cap and see if that works before you spend alot of money on a new radiator!
I've done some additional investigation and have found the some furry little creatures have eaten through the wiring to the fans. Anyone ever have to replace this wiring? How easy/hard a job is this? Thanks again for the help.
Not hard? Pics would help, but basically you need to pull back the split loom, cut out the chewed wire, splice/solder and heat shrink in some new wire...put it back in the loom and retainers.
