Having nice weather and a day off I took advantage for a little road trip. I don't get to visit as often as I should being I'm about 30 miles away but it was a great day and as always spoke to some very nice people. In between talking to people from Virginia, D.C. and Oregon I got to snap some pictures. If you ever have the chance, visit here.

Interesting. Is there anything else there, besides the sign?
The Tower of Voices (windchimes) and the Wall of Names are also on the site.
I still have memories of that day. I was on the second leg of a flight from JFK to Atlanta, when my dispatcher alerted us to the fact that our airspace was being closed. I was immediately advised by NY Center that I was being diverted to BWI and the rest of the flight was cancelled. Deadheaded back to PA via Enterprise car. My POV was at JFK !!

Tower of Voices is very close to this where the pic was taken. They are starting to spread out the memorials now on the grounds. Sadly, I live 30 miles away and don't visit often but with each visit I see alot of change. If you ever get the chance...visit!
