G-Tech Pro

As long as you use it to compare yourself to yourself, it's a great tool. But using it against someone elses car with time slips and other data, I say it's not.
The G-Tech will calculate mph at the end of the 1/4 mile where the track measures a trap speed 66' before and at the finish line giving an average.
So the G-Tech will always read higher.
The ET's you have to be careful with also, if you let off to soon, it will give a false reading.
0-60, I went 5.7, but using a formula and my time slip it was really 4.12, but I don't believe either one.
Don't even try the HP calculator, it said my 6 banger pick up had 600 HP.
It's hard to dial in the weight for the HP calculator and you have to hit a certain"G" or 120 mph to get a #.
So bottom line, if you don't have access to a track, go ahead and buy one(look on ebay for a used one), if you can go to the track, put the money towards a set of drag radials. You'll be much better off.
