tuning my car with no softwer
I went down to my local performance shop and the tuner said he can tune my 1992 LT-1 but dose not have the softwear for it but if i get the softwear for him he can get the job done,he stated that he stared with LT-1's but only dose LS engines because its whats hot right now.i have heard good stuff about his work should i trust him?

What are you trying to get him to tune for? Basic bolt ons? Cam? Heads? Forced induction? If you're doing a mild build, I'd probably just get a mail order tune from pcm ot nc. Theyve been at it for as long as anyone and know what they're doing. And since the 92 used a piggyback adapter and chip, the local portion doesnt make that big of a difference.
