Old vehicles do that.

Check for broken springs, bad shocks, bushings, and joints.

All part of these old things.

Is it front and back?

How many miles on the car? Any indication that the suspension components are original? I would suggest that any mileage over 100K is ready for new shocks, bushings, and a close inspection of the front and rear springs to see if there is any indication of cracking or delaminating.

Tires can also play a part in a rough ride. Are they more than 6-7 years old (check the tire date codes). What is the tire pressure? Stock is 35psi for all tires.

It's a c4. It's not bottoming out springs are firm and don't deflect. It a safety feature, ide just continuously nudges you to keep you alert and awake LOL
