Default Sill Guards

I've been looking at items that will protect the interior of my C4 and was thinking sill guards might be a worthwhile purchase. What are everyone's thoughts on if it is well spent money?

I have the clear ones and it has saved the carpet from my shoes tearing it up when I get in and out. well worth it.

I have them on both the 89 and 13, I would say they are well worth it.

I have a set, and love them! They do the job, and look good too. Certainly better than rubbing the carpet away in one spot.

I bought them mainly for the look, but based on how many times I have kicked them in the week I've had them, they are doing their job.

Mine ended up in the shed. They look cool and I know they have an intended purpose of saving the eventual carpet wear, but it made the door sills that much more difficult to clear getting out. One little scuff of the boot and they lift.
I've seen them screwed down. May try that.

If you don't want to screw them down, try Velcro.
