Yesterday was a glorious day in NC and as I was soaking in some sunshine when a '92 Black Rose drove by. What a gorgeous car.
These C4's look better and better every day to me. I recently bought a C6Z and had to trade my '95. Of course my Z is a performance upgrade to say the least, I will always wish I had been able to keep my '95.

I really do not understand the c4 disrespect. The body style is cool, and the drive is fun.

I think BR is a great color on a C4. The same color flunked for the C7.

Towards the end of summer, a 94 Black Rose vert with a white top and tan interior pulled up beside me at a stoplight. It was right before dusk, the waning warm summer light was hitting the car perfectly, the whole car just popped. It was incredible looking, in all my years of scanning the environment for C4s when I’m out and about, it was the first time I had encountered this very attractive color combination.

Black Rose Metallic (code 73) first appeared for the 1992 model year, reappeared in ‘93 with ‘94 being the last year of its application on the C4 generation. A different hue, Dark Purple Metallic (code 05) came out for the ‘95 and ‘96 model years. I always thought it looked lighter in color compared to the Black Rose Metallic of ‘92-‘94. A Dark Purple Metallic/Artic White two-tone was used on the ‘95 Pace Car.
