So just like Lay's potato chips, I can't only have one. Picked this up today. Runs and drives out really well so far. Pretty sure it came with and may still have the Delco-Bilstein Shock Absorbers (FG3), the performance suspension (Z51) and heavy duty cooling (V08). Cannot read the color numbers but nothing I think I can read is close to the color it is. These are the seller pic of the car. I took the sticker (dark out). See if I missed anything and if you can tell me the color on the sticker. I'll take some more photos later. 85, automatic, $2300 needs windshield 150k some minor mods. So far really happy.

Reason: added 85, automatic
Car I'd say was originally BLACK - Code 41L/41U seem to be on the SPID label but the 4's look to be 'worked over'! What color is the interior now? I'd guess SPID mentions red/carmine.
Extreme lower lines of the SPID should likely have the WA - paint codes which could be used to confirm original color.
Here's the bottom of the label. I cannot make any sense of it either.
8774 is RED so the codes in the upper were likely 81L & 81U. That fits because the numbers should be low to high on bottom line. The 41L & 41U being the last troubled me!!! 24S (top) 74I interior soft trim & 742 carmine/red leather.
Just out of curiosity, does the vin on the dash match whats on the info sticker?
Yes everything matches door jam, spid, vin. Only thing that doesn't match is the color. Going to ask seller as he claims this is a family hand me down from his uncle. But not a spot of red paint anywhere on it. Stated that carpet had been replaced so that's why it's not red. But man those seats are.
Google Malcolm Konner edition Corvette. Its a pretty rare car but that doesn't always mean high value. Nice project.. I could be wrong too.
Seems those are 1986's this is definitely a 1985. VIN F and no high mount stop light. Those also had an RPO Code of 4001ZA and unless it is somewhere I don't know about it's not on any tag or plate I've found. I have to say if it's not it may be some type of tribute. The mystery continues. Thanks for the help! Appreciated.
I text the previous owner and he stated it has always been that color. I ventured outside and noticed that the hood is red but has been painted black. PO said in ad that car had been wrecked. I guess that would explain the lower front end being silver instead of black. PO replaced carpet also. The carpet under the dash is red.
Only thing not safe is the windshield and the earliest I could get it replace is on Monday. Had to do some adjustments most by the book but I did have to improvise a couple. Not a big concern but it has a very very small drip coming from the left side of the rack. I didn't cause it I just brought it to light. Turning the wheel lock to lock, just a little over 2 revolutions btw, tore what little boot was left. So I came out of Walmart to a huge puddle under the car. Seems it was where the boot had drained all of the small drips over the years. Now it just occasionally has a small drop. No noticeable fluid loss in the reservoir. I'm going to do something about the boots as both are torn.
Not cleaning anything until the windshield is replaced so excuse the dirt. Here are some pics I took. I think so far I really have a diamond in the rough.
